Right now I have a pot full of beets boiling, a pot full of marigolds and yellow onion skins boiling, and a pot full of grass and leaves boiling.

I’m making natural dyes for a presentation I’m giving tomorrow on making art sustainably and from materials found in the garden. I will have red(beets), orange(red and yellow onion skins), yellow(marigolds flowers and yellow onion skins), green (grass and leaves) and brown(black tea). It smells weird in here.
